Village of Liverpool Running along the north shore of Onondaga Lake, you’ll find the booming village of Liverpool. This delightful community is filled with beautifully sculpted landscapes, unique shops and spectacular restaurants. But the lovely lakeshore trails and warm village folk make this waterfront community the place to be, if you love nature.
A major focal point of the area is Onondaga Lake Park … The ‘central’ park of ‘central’ New York! The park is truly a people’s place, with activity from sunrise to sunset all year long. Many reasons make this park special … like free admission, the best paved and vehicle-free trails in the region, free outdoor wireless internet and it is host to many special events, competitions and festivals. Developed areas include Willow Bay and Cold Springs. Seven miles of shoreline provide great possibilities for family fun. The village is approximately 1 square mile and home to almost 3,000 residents. Over 35,000 people travel through the village daily. Liverpool is a community with a rich history, and it takes pride in its heritage. |
Village of Baldwinsville This suburb of Syracuse is located in the Northwest corner of Onondaga County. Half of the village lies in the Town of Van Buren, while the other half is in the Town of Lysander. As you’ll find with many other Central New York communities, the 524-mile historic Erie Canal runs through town. Canal Lock #24, is one of the busiest, and is located in the heart of Baldwinsville, where nearly 20,000 boats “lock-through” in a season, and travel along the Seneca River.
A drive down East Mud Lake Road brings you to Beaver Lake Nature Center where you’ll enjoy a rich mix of habitats, and get a chance to view more than 200 species of birds and over 800 varieties of plants. Its 200 acre glacial lake is accompanied by nature trails, both long and short, for hiking and exploring in the forest setting. Lovely homes and developments abound in this growing community, including Radisson’s Planned Community. Easily accessible from Routes 690 and 481, Baldwinsville is home to many Syracuse business owners and employees. |
Town of Clay If you like to shop, you’ll love Clay, New York. This residential community began in 1955 with the development of the Bayberry tract on Route 57. But the opening of the Great Northern Mall on Route 31 brought increased commercial development along the east/west corridor. Today you’ll find many:
Need to improve your golf score? You can work on that swing any time of the year at The Golfers Dome, complete with indoor and outdoor driving ranges, batting cages, a Pro shop and more! The North Area Family YMCA is just a short distance away too.
Clay's modern development continues to grow at a rapid pace, with new construction springing up all over. From Syracuse, Rt. 481 runs right through Clay, as well as Morgan Rd. and Henry Clay Blvd. |

Our Northern Neighbors
Heading north, and into Oswego County, you’ll first go through the quaint little Village of Phoenix, NY. Located on the Oswego River, it’s a scenic drive further north into the Fulton.
One of the first towns settled in the Town of Granby, Fulton incorporated as a village in 1835. The City of Fulton has Lake Neatahwanta to the west and the Oswego River runs through the city.
Following the river north, is the great City of Oswego… “where the water never ends”. This city is big on festivals, hosting the annual 4-day Harborfest on Lake Ontario, well-known all across the state and Canada!
